Day 4: Stop food waste: Create a plan for all your meals and snacks for the week

1.4 billion tons of food is thrown away per year. Use this simple tip to prevent the waste…

Write down all the meals you’ll eat this week on your phone.

Only buy the food required for the meals in your plan. That way you won’t waste food because you won’t buy things and forget about them until they go off.
Include snacks if you know you’ll snack. Get some carbon neutral or carbon negative snacks if you want to minimize your impact on the environment.

You could also try a meal delivery service, like Hello Fresh. That way, you’ll only buy the food you eat.
Several meal-delivery services are also carbon-neutral, so you’ll significantly cut your food-related greenhouse gas emissions.

Do your little bit of good where you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world. Desmond Tutu

We’ll call this your food calendar. We’ll come back to this a few times during the next 95 days.

Imagine...

Imagine if 1 million people completed 100 Days to Save the World.

We would change the world.

It's possible.

Imagine how the world could be.

It's up to us to change it. Not someone else.
