Day 43: Remove unsustainable palm oil from your shopping list

You can help stop the destruction of the Amazon Rainforest by removing these items from your shopping list…

Food that contains palm oil
Have a look in your food cupboard for these items: peanut butter, breakfast bars, margarine, cakes, cereal, chocolate, crackers, crisps, ready meals and any other processed/packaged foods.

Check the labels for palm oil. If any of those items have palm oil on the label but don’t have a Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) logo, make a note of them on your shopping list or meals planner.
Amazon rainforest
Products that contain palm oil but don’t have the RSPO logo might be linked to unsustainable rainforest deforestation.
Next time you want to buy one of those items, choose a brand that uses sustainable palm oil, like this Whole Earth peanut butter, which is a particularly good example.

Imagine...

Imagine if 1 million people completed 100 Days to Save the World.

We would change the world.

It's possible.

Imagine how the world could be.

It's up to us to change it. Not someone else.
